13th Zodiac Sign

Hey, and well, this topic is bugging me. The fabled 13th Zodiac sign, or the Ophiuchus/Serpantarius. It's a sign inbetween Scorpio and Sagittarius. No one knows the charateristics, but if the sign is added to the Zodiac, the dates will be like this:

ARIES = April 19 - May 13
TAURUS = May 14 - June 19
GEMINI = June 20 - July 20

CANCER = July 21 - August 9
LEO = August 10 - September 15
VIRGO = September 16 - October 30
LIBRA = October 31 - November 22
SCORPIO = November 23 - November 29
OPHIUCHUS = November 30 - December 17
SAGITTARIUS = December 18 - January 18
CAPRICORN = January 19 - Febuary 15
AQUARIUS = Febuary 16 - March11
PISCES = March 12 - April18
Now, carefully look at the dates. It's very messed up. Here is how much days are for each:

ARIES = 25 days

TAURUS = 27 days

GEMINI = 31 days

CANCER = 20 days

LEO = 36 days

VIRGO = 45 days

LIBRA = 23 days

SCORPIO = 7 days

OPHIUCHUS = 18 days

SAGITTARIUS = 32 days

CAPRICORN = 28 days

AQUARIUS = 25 days

PISCES = 38 days

See how un even they are? Scorpio has a week and virgo has 45 days!!

Now, if Ophichus isn't included, here are the time period for each sign.

ARIES = 31 days

TAURUS = 32 days

GEMINI = 33 days

CANCER = 32 days

LEO = 33 days

VIRGO = 31 days

LIBRA = 32 days

SCORPIO = 33 days

SAGITTARIUS = 30 days

CAPRICORN = 32 days

AQUARIUS = 30 days

PISCES = 31 days

(my counting may be off, but you get the point.)

See how each one gets about a month? Doesn't it seem a bit more orderly than the wild numbers for the 13? See? Also, the Greeks. Oh, the wise Greeks! They only had 12 Zodaics when they first started, and they must have noticed the 13th and chosen to disregard it since the dating would be off, or some other reason.

Another reason why I disbelieve in the 13 signs is for the tributes. Yes,yes, the Zodiac signs mean something to who we are. I've studied my friends and family and got all good things from it; they fit with their sign! Amazing, is it no? But, with this new sign, things don't add up. Me, for instance. I would be a Virgo with this new system. I do have some qualities of a Virgo, but I am mostly Libra. A friend of mine is a Scorpio, like a true-blue one, and with this new system she would be a Libra, which does not fit her. And my brother! He is most certainly not a Sagittarius. He is a Capricorn, by personality.

So, sorry to disregard the new sign, I don't think it should be added to the mighty 12. It just doesn't fit into there.
